What we collect, why, and how long.

01 · What we collect

When you place an order, we collect: name, shipping address, billing address (if different), email, phone number, and the payment information needed to process the transaction (the card brand + last 4 digits — we don't store the full card number; that's handled by our merchant processor).

When you browse, we collect anonymous analytics through Google Analytics 4 — page views, session duration, referrer URL, anonymized IP, browser/device type. We do not run third-party tracking pixels (no Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Hotjar, FullStory).

If you sign up for restock alerts or contact us through the form, we collect the email address you provide.

02 · How we use it

We use your personal information to:

• Process and ship your orders (the warehouse, the carrier, the address verifier)
• Send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and delivery tracking
• Reply to support inquiries (returns, authenticity, missing packages)
• Send restock alerts only for the specific flavors you signed up to watch
• Verify age compliance (21+) at checkout and at delivery

We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in. We never share your information with third parties for their marketing.

03 · Who we share data with

We share the minimum personal data needed with the following service providers, contractually bound to use it only for the listed purpose:

• Shipping carriers (UPS, USPS): name, address, phone for delivery and tracking
• Merchant processor: payment information for transaction processing (we never see your full card number)
• Email service provider: email + name for order confirmations and shipping notifications
• Age-verification service: name + date of birth + last 4 of SSN if state law requires additional verification
• Analytics (Google): anonymized browsing data

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for advertising. If a government agency or law enforcement makes a valid legal request, we respond per applicable law.

04 · Retention

Order records (name, address, what you bought, when): 7 years, for tax and compliance reasons.

Email + restock alert subscriptions: until you unsubscribe (one-click in every email).

Anonymous analytics: 14 months (Google Analytics 4 default).

Support email threads: 3 years.

05 · Your rights

Depending on which US state you live in, you may have the following rights:

• Right to access: request a copy of the personal data we have about you
• Right to delete: request that we delete your personal data (excluding records we're legally required to retain for tax/compliance)
• Right to correct: request that we update inaccurate personal data
• Right to opt out of sale: we don't sell data, so this right is automatically satisfied

To exercise any of these rights, email service@flum-vape.com with the subject "Privacy Request" and tell us which right you're exercising. We'll respond within 30 days.
