01 · Dispatch cutoff — 2 PM Eastern
Orders placed before 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, ship the same business day from our Greenwood, Indiana warehouse. Orders placed after 2 PM ET ship the next business day. Weekend orders (Saturday + Sunday) ship Monday.
Our warehouse is open M-F 8 AM – 4 PM ET. We don't ship on US federal holidays — your order will go out the next business day after the holiday.
02 · Carriers + transit time
We ship via UPS Ground and USPS Priority. Carrier selection is automatic based on destination ZIP code — whichever is faster + tracked for your address. Typical transit times from Greenwood, IN:
- Midwest (IL, IN, OH, KY, MI, WI, MO, IA): 1–2 business days
- South + Mid-Atlantic (TN, KY, NC, VA, PA, NJ, NY): 2 business days
- West Coast (CA, OR, WA, NV, AZ): 2–3 business days
- Texas, Florida, New England: 2–3 business days
- Alaska, Hawaii: 3–5 business days (USPS only)
03 · Shipping cost + free threshold
Standard shipping is a flat rate calculated at checkout based on weight. Orders $80 or more ship free in the US — this is one of our two standing offers. Orders $150 or more additionally get 10% off the entire order, applied automatically at checkout.
04 · Adult-signature delivery required
Every Flum order ships with adult-signature delivery — the carrier will not leave the package on a doorstep, in a mailroom, or with a neighbor. A person 21 or older must be present at delivery and must show a valid government-issued photo ID when signing for the package.
This is a compliance requirement (US PACT Act + state regulations), not an optional preference. If no one is available to sign, the carrier will leave a notice and re-attempt delivery up to 3 times. After the third failed attempt, the package returns to our warehouse and we'll reach out to schedule re-delivery.
05 · Tracking + lost packages
You'll get a tracking number by email within 30 minutes of your order being handed off to the carrier (typically 2:30-3:00 PM ET on same-day-ship orders). Tracking updates within 24 hours of pickup.
If your tracking shows "delivered" but the package isn't there, contact the carrier first (UPS or USPS — listed on the tracking page) within 48 hours; most "missing" packages are mis-scanned and turn up. If 48 hours pass and it's still missing, email service@flum-vape.com with your order number — we'll file a carrier claim and reship.
06 · State + address restrictions
We ship to all 50 US states and DC. We don't ship to US territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands), military APO/FPO addresses, or PO Boxes (carrier requirement for adult-signature). We don't ship internationally.
Some US states have additional age-verification or excise-tax requirements (Utah, Vermont, Massachusetts among them). Your order may show an additional state-specific tax line at checkout based on shipping ZIP.
